I just found out today that my brother, George, is going to a very violent area of Afganistan tomorrow. He has been in Afganistan for his 2nd tour there since June of last year. He's a lead for the medics and sees where the injuries and fatalities are coming from. Tomorrow he is supposed to go to a place where the counts of both are high. He's been in for over ten years and I think he said that when he gets back this time he will have just 6 years left until retirement. He is a father to a five-year-old boy and husband to a loving wife who found her relationship with God last year.
Please pray with me for his safety, for a closeness with God that comforts him and for the presence of God to go with him to give him everything he needs in this trial. He doesn't talk much about his relationship with The Lord but I feel I need to pray he is saved and that our Father's loving hand is on him. Please keep him, his family and all of our soldiers in your prayers.
